Stone setting workshop
In this 3 hour workshop you will be introduced to the traditional art of silversmithing. A number of essential basic skills will be covered, including measuring and sizing rings, manipulation of metal, annealing, soldering and polishing.
You will be guided through the process of creating a bezel to hold a cabachon stone of your choice, ready to wear (or gift) at the end of the workshop.
No previous experience is necessary. The class however, is limited to people aged 16 years and above.
All tools and silver are included in this price. Gemstones will cost extra. I will have a selection available for purchase, and can also do my best to source particular gemstones of your choice.
To allow for individual attention, classes will be capped at 4 participants.
